DANDY DESIGNER TRAILER TENT in Poole, Dorset for sale
Selling our Dandy Designer Trailer Tent with original awning due to a change in circumstance. If you’re reading this then you probably already know that Dandy make the best trailer tents for the UK as they can be put away absolutely soaking wet and not suffer from mould and mildew unlike a canvas tent. This model has the insulated walls and roof which means it is very comfortable compared to a nylon tent in both torrential rain and baking sun. We bought this just over 4 years ago and in that time it has had new wheels and bearings, electrics checked, restyling of the interior and the majority of the elastics replaced. It’s small and light enough to move by yourself and can be towed by a small vehicle. The tent will come with the original awning, twin gas cooker and bottle, a soft ceiling which you can hang up, a safe box fitted to the chassis, solar powered security light, a heavy duty lock to cover the towing hitch, spare tyre and two sets of keys to the front door. There is a tap, heater and consumer unit as well as two UK plug sockets. We have never used any of these-if you are handy then it would be simple to check and adapt these for your use. We found the heat from the cooker was enough to keep us warm, kept a water tank outside and never paid for a hook up. One of the beds converts to a sofa for the day and there is table which can be removed if space is required. There are obvious signs of wear and tear as this unit is from the 1990s. This includes a discolouration to parts of the white fabric on the awning and other signs of use around the unit. You are welcome to come and see the tent and check it for yourself and I would recommend this if possible. If you are happy with the Dandy I will require a full payment by bank transfer or the full amount in cash on the day before the trailer is released.
