5 Door 1.4 Fiesta Zetec 1.4 Petrol sold as non runner in Poole, Dorset for sale

Well here we have a sad tale! This lovely little 5 door Fiesta has a problem! It has an intermittent EAC fail fault, which is to do with the electronic accelerator control. This is my eldest daughter's car and it was driving well until 3 months ago when it suddenly came up with this warning on the dash and was recovered to a local garage by the breakdown service. After much head scratching and component swapping and testing we have decided to 'call it a day' due to garage labor costs and are selling the little car as a non runner. With teasing and perseverance the car will start, drive and run (albeit with a noisy exhaust) - until it comes to starting it again when the familiar fault code is displayed and the whole saga starts again. MOT expires on September 8th 2015. Please note the car is sold, in effect, for spares or repair NOT as a ready to use run about. Cash on collection from our home on Canford Heath.
