PARK TS2.2 WHEEL TRUING STAND CALIBRATION OFFER in Poole, Dorset for sale

This Advert is for anyone owning a Park TS-2 or the Park TS-.2.2 wheel truing stand, and would like it calibrated using the Park 1554-1 Centering / Calibration Gauge. I have just purchased the calibration gauge and have calibrated my own TS 2.2, and found that it was off centre by 3.15mm. I Thought previously that it was not accurate, which is why, after a lot of consideration, because the gauge was so expensive, and one would only need to use it once every so many years that I decided to purchase the gauge. If anyone would like their Park TS-2 / TS-2.2 stands checked / calibrated. This can be done, but...there's always a but...there will be a charge for this of £10, as I would have gladly paid that amount to have mine calibrated, thus knowing it would be accurate within the limits of the stand / gauge. If one considers that the Park TS 2.2 stand is now £200+ to buy and the calibration gauge between £50 and £60 to buy, then this seems a fair and reasonable offer, to know that your stand is accurate. Although the Park TS-2 / 2.2 is good for centering wheels, for really accurate centering a wheel dishing tool should be used.
