1979 USA Fender Stratocaster with Gator hard case,(Not all original) in Poole, Dorset for sale

For sale is my 1979 USA Fender Stratocaster. My uncle bought this in 1979 and passed it down to me. It's has has extensive gigging, playing and general abuse. It's also been through a lot of changes and fads over the years do it's not all original-having had various parts switched out including the body.however, It performs and plays fine. Original 1979 parts: Neck Tuner 5 way selector Tone and volume pots (orange cap) All 3 volume and tone knobs Neck plate Jack socket The remaining components have been replaced over the years with genuine Fender USA parts.The neck is very worn and has never had a re-fret so all the original frets remain.but there is no chocking or significant buzzing anywhere on the neck and it still plays great.the headstock at one stage did have a kahler locking nut fitted for many years from the mid 80s till about 4 years ago and then removed this and filled the cut out with wood filler.you'll also notice a small penguin sticker on the headstock, which gas been there since late 1979 and was an air fix decal. It has been varnished over so won't come off without sanding the headstock. You'll also notice an extra small 2 way switch on the scratch plate which is currently not connected.but was used to bypass the volume so that a rhythm volume could be set and then flick the switch for full volume for solo's.
