RARE c1820 Magnificent Chinese Emperor Rosewood Dragon Throne Chair Handcrafted With Inlayed Eyes. There are three incredible beautiful carved dragons, one on the back of the chair and the male and female (Yin and Yang) on either side making up the arms, legs and sides, stunning carving on legs and around the seat itself, and even the back of the chair is beautifully carved. The eyes of all dragons are of ivory inlaid with mother-of-pearl. There is some minor age wear which is to be expected through normal daily use, extremely comfortable to sit in and is just a absolute joy to admire and is a piece of art in itself.
